Adding Aesthetic Injections to Your Practice

Adding Aesthetic Injections to Your Practice

syringes filled with platelet rich plasma
Many healthcare providers want to get into the Aesthetic industry,  but don’t know how or where to start.
After completing training, it is then time to decide what to offer to your patients.
Additionally, the start-up cost can be high.  There are many products on the market from lasers, to neuromodulators, to dermal fillers and  threads.
I do not recommend offering everything at one time! This can be overwhelming, as there is a high learning curve needed in order to be competent at offering so many different procedures.
I recommend for new injectors who are just starting is to start with 2 things… a neuromodulator and PRP. (Platelet-rich-plasma.)
Neuromodulators and fairly easy to learn, have low complications, and are not permanent. Many people (over million) have neuromodulators performed, and this is one of the first things that patients come in for.
PRP, which stands for platelet-rich plasma, is a natural component of the blood. PRP contains a number of proteins and has powerful regenerative properties, making it an effective tool for treating certain signs of aging, hair loss, and even joint pain or muscle injury.
PRP therapy for the face works by triggering the body’s healing and regenerative properties, boosting the production of collagen and elastin, and rejuvenating the skin for a firmer, more youthful look. During a PRP treatment, patients will have a small tube of blood drawn from their arms. The blood will be separated in a centrifuge to isolate the PRP, which will be prepared in syringes. It is then strategically inject the plasma into the skin or hairline. Over the course of several weeks or months, the PRP will stimulate the body’s healing processes, helping to reduce common signs of aging.
PRP is a very safe and a highly versatile product to offer. It is safe, and the complication rate is very low. The return on investment is high, making it desirable to offer in the clinic.
Some of the things that can be done with PRP only are:
  • Hair rejuvenation
  • Under eye tear trough rejuvenation
  • O shot for Women
  • P shot for Men
  • Acne scar treatment
  • Fine line improvement
From its natural approach to its long-lasting results, the benefits of PRP therapy for anti-aging are virtually endless.
Combined with a neuromodulator, this can be a solid beginning into the world of Aesthetics without breaking your budget.
